My story
While I had been drawn to yoga for some time, I truly discovered its power during a depression in my mid '20s. Not long after, I decided to travel to India to study yoga at its roots. There, I learned that yoga is much more than physical postures on the mat, it is a conscious way of living that shapes how we meet others, navigate life’s ups and downs, and relate to ourselves and the world around us.
I strive to make yoga accessible while staying connected to its foundations. For me, yoga brings grounding, deep rest, and a sense of contentment. It helps me ride the waves of life, still with ups-and-downs, but with more compassion for myself along the way.
The style, the teacher, and their perspective all shape your experience. If one class doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean that yoga doesn't work for you. Yoga is a personal journey, and sometimes the best way to know if it’s right for you is simply to try. You are warmly welcome to join a class. I offer a supportive space where you can discover yoga in a way that feels authentic and nourishing to you.
