Yoga for everyone

I believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone, no matter their financial situation. Life can bring challenges, sometimes with our health, sometimes with our work, sometimes with money, ... Yet, especially in difficult times, the grounding, calm, and support that yoga offers can make a real difference.

That’s why I offer my classes on a flexible basis for those who may not be able to pay the full fee. You are welcome to join on a donation basis, to contribute in another way, or we can work something out that works for you. What matters most is that you have the opportunity to benefit from the practice. Yoga is not about perfection or performance, it’s about connection, compassion, and support.

If you feel drawn to join but finances are holding you back, please know you are warmly welcome here. Don't be shy to reach out.

Hatha yoga

Hatha yoga, the most traditional form of yoga. In these classes, we pay attention to several branches of yoga: meditation, mantras, pranayama (breathing techniques) and asanas. We start quite active and it gets quieter towards the end of the class. We work on both muscle strength and stretching and perform the poses separately, each pose is held for several breaths.

Yin yoga

In yin yoga, we stay in the same pose for 3 to 5 minutes, and sometimes even longer. Because of this, yin yoga is considered a calmer form of yoga but its intensity should certainly not be underestimated. In yin yoga we work more on the connective tissue than on the muscles, by fully relaxing the body we can stretch more and deeper. This makes yin yoga recommended for beginners, you get the time to perfect your pose and work the stiffness out of your body. By stretching our body we also loosen blockages, allowing our energy to flow better.

Yoga styles
In my group classes, I offer only two styles of yoga: Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga. All of my trainings took place in India, where Hatha is considered the foundation of every yoga practice. These are the styles I trust most, because they feel simple, authentic, and close to the roots of yoga. Rather than following trends, I prefer to share practices that have stood the test of time and that I know can truly support you, both on and off the mat.
